- Accept Minutes from last meeting as posted by Kathy
A motion to approve minutes from the last Executive Board Meeting dated June 21, 2016 was made by Rich and seconded by Maggie. Minutes were approved 5-0.
- Treasurer’s Report
- Financial Report
Rob reported the total in all accounts. The total donation for the Mercer Museum from the BCRR Break-Fast 5K will be $7619.72. Kathy will contact Doug Dolan to arrange a time for Johnny, Kathy and Rob to deliver the check. In addition, a representative from Mercer will be present at the start of the Winter Series to receive a large presentation check.
- Tax filing/accountant issues
Rob is working with tax accountant, Kathi Atkinson, in filing the IRS-990 EZ form for the 2015 tax year. Kathi Atkinson filed for a second extension. The second extension gives the club until November 15, 2016 to file the 2015 return. The club will also be filing the BCO 10 Pennsylvania State form.
- Old Business
- CPR class dates set Dec 3&4th if needed
There will be 2 CPR instructors teaching the class and each is responsible for 10 participants (max 20 people per class), and the class is 4 hours.
- Decide on times
The class will be held at 11 am on Saturday, December 3rd (and 11 am on Sunday, December 4th if a second day is required due to club interest).
- Waiting to hear back from Brian
Brian Flores, the Tyler Park Manager, agreed to let the club use the classroom at Tyler on Dec. 3rd and 4th.
- Are we doing anything else in conjunction?
There will be an informal run at 9 am in Tyler.
- Tailgate Committee will we be doing any tailgates this year?
Kathy and Johnny discussed possible races where BCRR could tailgate, i.e., set up the club tent and offer post-race food and drink, hand out brochures and sign up new members. The group discussed focusing on races closer to the BCRR membership region to increase the potential for signing up new members.
- Apparel: New Design?
The board discussed design options for new apparel.

Mike commented via email. He is waiting to hear back from Council Rock South.
- Maggie also has contact with CRN athletic director
Maggie will make contact with someone from Council Rock North.
- George School: have we paid them yet? No workout on the 24th
Johnny still needs an updated contract from the George School. Johnny will contact Gayle.
- Has Montco been paid for meetup?
Rob paid Montco.
- Club Membership Cards
- Can we get them through run sign up?
Mike commented via email that the RSU membership list can be used for making club membership cards.
- Use them for discounts? Table till next meeting!
Membership cards could contain club name, member name, dates that membership is valid, and a Promo Code for merchandise… Kathy will look into possible suppliers.

Mike commented via email that Corey is well on his way to having photography set. Mike will be sending out an email this month to current season long race directors to see who plans to continue for this year, and several have indicated a desire to do so. In mid-September, he will open up opportunities for new folks to volunteer.
- Web Site Update
Mike took all updates to the website over to Jennifer and will have Linda update the RSU link for Jennifer to integrate it into the registration area.

- Yoga for runners: Fall
Maggie will work with Amy to see if she is willing to do Yoga for runners again in the fall. Maggie will send a Welcome letter to members with a list of runs/meetups/yoga…when they sign up for membership.
- Vice President
- Thanksgiving Day Race: Expo
The Expo is at the Newtown Athletic Club (NAC) the weekend before the race in conjunction with packet pickup. Space will be sold to vendors for the Expo.
Johnny will prepare his President’s blog in conjunction with launch of the new website. Johnny also proposed changing the beneficiary of the Break-Fast 5K to CB Cares. CB Cares Educational Foundation, in partnership with Doylestown Hospital, the Central Bucks School District, local businesses, and the community, is dedicated to enriching the experience of students through learning grants and 40 Assets-based programs which promote responsible and resilient youth. Johnny made a motion to make CB Cares the beneficiary of the Break-Fast 5K for next year. Rich seconded the motion and the Board approved the change 5-0. In addition, Johnny is organizing hill workouts for the club on Thursday nights on a trail in Tyler State Park.
