Hi Everyone! Hopefully you saw the post from Johnny King-Marino that elections will be taking place this summer for the 3 elected positions of President, Vice President and Treasurer. Mike Gross been asked to run this process for this election cycle.
The elections will work very similar to the process from 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2021. We have included the key dates below. Voting will be open to all members, 18 and older and will be done via Survey Monkey. Because the voting link can only be submitted once – meaning, once you click “done” on the final page, you cannot get to it again to change or vote more than once, it is imperative that we have the emails of all eligible members to ensure you receive a link to vote.
A “test survey” was sent to your email. Please check your email to make sure you have received it. . If you have not received it, it means we don’t have your address. Please DO NOT respond to the group with your email, rather send it directly to Mike (mikegross1@verizon.net). Please check your spam folder before reaching out to Mike.
For those with a family membership, we may only have the email of one family member, but anyone 18 and older is eligible, so we will want to make sure to get those emails as well.

June 16-30: Nominations open – people can nominate others or themselves (please send nominations directly to me – mikegross1@verizon.net)
July 5: All candidates confirm whether they are running
July 6: Official list of candidates made public
July 7-13: Candidate statements may be made and updated on club website
July 16-31: Election
October 1: New term for officers begins
Please note all current officers have stated that they plan to run again. In 2021 no one else chose to run so no voting was held. If that happens again our current officers will continue for another term.
