Fall Marathons/Half Marathons/Ultra’s
This is my annual reminder to be sure to look at your calendar and count the weeks if you’re thinking of a fall marathon, Half’s, Ultra’s to have a training schedule which will get you ready for the starting line. Also be sure to register early enough to get in and take advantage of an early discount. Here are some web sites for some of the local favorites

Training
Mc Tueday Night Run ( Joe Boyce)
Tuesday 6:00PM Starts at McCaffrey’s parking lot on the side where Villa Rosa is. 635 Heacock Rd., Yardley Pa 19067. It’s a no drop run ranging from 3.5 to 7 miles.
Weekly track workouts ( Natalie Johnson)
Wednesdays at George School. Warm up at 6:15 and workout starts at 6:30. Go to BCRR web site for more info
Thursdays – Hills are alive ( From Euihwa)
Hill training on dirt trails at Tyler. 6:00 pm on Thursday. No trail running experience is needed. No trail shoes are required. Meet at the boathouse.
Weekend Runs
Saturday morning Trail Run at Washington Crossing
Group normally meets on Saturday at 7:30AM. Any questions contact Greg Holst . gholst@comcast.net
Saturday- At Cramers Bakery in Yardley. We should be keeping same times now for Saturday run and/or bike ride . Bike Ride will be at 6:30 and run will be at 7:00. For any last minute changes send me ( williamschaffling@gmail.com) your email and I will add you to our distributions list for Saturday run and bike ride
Doylestown run ( Contact james_roehm@merck.com)
Saturdays at 8AM the group meets at Starbucks in Doylestown located at State and Main Streets. The run is open to all pace groups and they typically run 8 miles via various different routes through the Doylestown area
New Hope Canal Path Group Long Run

Sunday’s Canal Run at (new time) 7:00 AM at the Virginia Forrest Recreational Area. Please join us for this 7.3 mile loop and run as many as you would like. Please tag your friends. Be sure to post your pace and distance. There will be water and yummy gels available at two spots we moved the first of our aid stations to the bridge two miles north of Stockton which is right around half way..The Virginia Forrest Recreation Area of the Delaware Canal State Park is precisely 3.3 miles North of the New Hope Canal Park entrance where we have been meeting.
Directions wise, the park is 1.3 miles North of Center Bridge (Dilly’s Corner).The area has 3 bathrooms with non-potable running water and plenty of parking…
