Looks like they are calling for more rain in the forecast today; however, it will never dampen are hearts for running track intervals! (Very deep I know lol)
Hope everyone had a fantastic Memorial Day Weekend!!! For those that ran the Doylestown 5k I hope that you all kicked butt too!!
And without further adieu this week’s workout:
Warm Up: 1 Mile + Drills & Striders
Workout: 4 Sets ( 3-4 X 300) at 10k – 5k Pace (100m recovery in between intervals and 400m in between sets)
Options on ways to do the workout
- You can run all at 5k Pace
- You can start at 10k pace for the first set and work down to 5k pace and faster for the last set
- You can do all at 10k pace
Cool Down: .5 – 1 Mile + Yoga
