- Treasurer’s Report
Financial Report – The taxes for 2017 were completed on time. Taxes will be posted on the website. Principal accountant, Kathy Atkinson, suggested that BCCR purchase a basic copy of QuickBooks (approximately $325), and her firm would then help Rob enter the numbers into Quickbooks for 2018. The cost would be approximately $500 for the first and second quarters for a bookkeeper to enter all data into Quickbooks. Johnny made a motion to approve the purchase of Quickbooks and the extra accounting fees if less than $1000. John seconded the motion, and it was approved 6-0. The club has only two checking accounts now, so bookkeeping is simplified. Rob reported that the club is on track with income and expenditures when compared against this year’s budget. No financial adjustments are necessary. Rob will send a donation check for $12,000 to CB Cares Educational Foundation from the Break-Fast 5K/10K event.
