Group Runs
BCRR Member Group Runs are offered weekly, year-round in both PA and NJ. Whether you like running the roads or the trails, there’s something for everyone. All paces welcome! Contact: Rich Kanak
Schedule and/or locations are subject to change. Subscribe to the blog and/or the BCRR Facebook Group, Bucks County Roadrunners Meetup, and Yahoo Group to receive up to the minute details about all of these weekly group runs. You may also contact the individual group run coordinators (see contact info below), if you are unsure whether the group will be meeting on any given day or week.

It’s a no-drop run ranging from 3.5 to 7 miles. During the fall and winter months, we recommend you wear your reflective vests, lights, and headlamps.
When: Tuesdays at 6:00pm

TUESDAY-Track Tuesday (June through September)
Track workouts are for all BCRR members who wants to try to improve their overall speed or simply wants a different kind of social group workout. Open to all ability and experience levels!
When: Tuesdays at 6:00pm (June through September)

WEDNESDAY-Track/Speed Workouts (April through October)
Track workouts are for all BCRR members who wants to try to improve their overall speed or simply wants a different kind of social group workout. Open to all ability and experience levels!
When: Wednesdays—warm-up 5:45pm, workout starts 6:00pm (April through October)

THURSDAY-tHrILLS Thursday (hill workout)
Typically there are two groups. One does the trails in the park and the other does hills on the road.

SATURDAY-Washington Crossing Trail Run
An approx 1 hour long trail run. Meet up just across the Washington Crossing bridge in the parking lot on the NJ side. Multiple groups, so all paces welcome!
When: Saturdays at 7:30am

SATURDAY-Yardley Canal Path/Road Run
This group run meets outside Cramer’s Bakery to run along the canal path
When (Summer): Saturdays at 7:00am
When (Fall/Winter/Spring): Saturdays at 7:30am

SATURDAY-Doylestown Group Run
The group meets at Starbucks in Doylestown located at State and Main Streets the run is open to all pace groups and they typically run 8 miles via various different routes through the Doylestown area.

SUNDAY-New Hope Canal Path Group Long Run (March thru November)
Please join us for our Sunday Delaware Canal State Park Run. We meet at the Virginia Forrest Recreation Area, Delaware Canal State Park. The area has 3 bathrooms with non-potable running water. And plenty of parking…
We run a 7.3 mile loop from the parking area north cross the footbridge at Bulls Island and then go South on the NJ side to Stockton and cross back over the river to PA and head back north to the Virginia Forest Parking area. The 7.3 mile loop has water and gels at two locations and is ideal for long runs. Do as many loops as you would like. All paces welcome!
When: Sundays, March through November, as follows:
- Beginning of March to June 21st 8:00am (spring)
- June 21st – Sept 21st 7:00am (summer)
- After Sept 21st to end of November 8:00am (fall)
