Restore and Refresh Morning Canal Run’s in JULY!
Where do we Meet? Side Street Entrance to Washington Crossing Park. Pa side (across the street from the Dunkin Donuts off of 532)
When do we Meet? Monday mornings in July. (9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th)
6:40am for (optional) breathing and light stretch
7:00 am promptly run will begin
8:00 am (ish) post run gentle yoga for about 20 minutes
What is this all about? Going for a mindful run. A What you ask? An enjoyable run that allows your body to restore while you are mindful of your surroundings.
What pace? The plan is to do ½ hour out and back on the canal at whatever you find your restorative/rest/mindful pace to be. The idea is to find a pace that will leave you feeling restored and energized. This will be different for everyone! It will definitely include lots of good conversation and some awesome scenery.
Hmmmm… what should I bring? Yourself (mandatory) hydration of some sort (mandatory) Willingness to go for a relaxing run (mandatory) and a Yoga mat or towel (optional).
