Seriously?? Almost 90 Tomorrow! Track is going to be on FIREEEEE!

October 1, 2019 By Natalie Johnston

Hey my BCRR peeps!

Ok I’m pretty lame with my title I know, however is this for real? Almost 90? We really need global warming to stop and bring Fall back to us!! (Totally not here for any political debates either – just saying) 🙂

Since tomorrow is going to be hotter than Satan’s balls in a wool sock? Too much? I saw it on a weather app and felt connected to the statement many times this summer; I decided to be kind and give shorter intervals in a structured Fartlek fashion!

Warm Up:
• 1 Mile Easy

Workout:
• 1′, 2′, 3′, 2′, 1′ X 2 Sets @ 5k-10k Pace

• Recovery: Same as each interval, 3′ between each set

I’ll be leading ya’ll with the whistle too…well really with just my loud mouth! HA! 🙂

When & Where

When: Wednesdays at 5:45pm start with warm up and drills from Early April through October. See calendar for dates and times, in season and checkout the blog and Facebook group for the latest track workout post.

Where: The George School, 1690 Newtown-Langhorne Road, Newtown, PA 18940
